The Health Fund receives donations to support health research projects recommended by the WCA Health Committee. In some cases this is in conjunction with the AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF) projects, whereby, the CHF matches WFF donations dollar for dollar.
Examples of recent contributions for Health Research include that to the Morris Animal Foundation for the HOD Study being conducted by the University of California-Davis, a program for partial reimbursement of x-ray and blood sample costs for HOD study participants and a donation to a bloat study.
